Erick Endres: Photography

As you’re wrapping up your 2018, you might be flipping through all the photos you took. Like many photographers, Erick Endres will be doing just that. Read his #PassionPreview: “Growing up, I always had a camera in my hand, whether it be disposable, Polaroid, or digital, often taking pictures of family and friends. I recently got back into it this year when I upgraded to a newer, more sharper camera, and been having fun with it ever since!”

Why photography? “For one, I [now] like to take pictures of people because I want everyone to not only feel included, but to feel beautiful, regardless of looks, sizes, age, orientation, etc. Everyone deserves a chance to feel beautiful and I like to capture that. It has also given me a chance to meet new (and similar interest) people, make new friends, get up and get outside, and exploring new places I’ve never been.”

To someone not interested in photography: “It’s my passion, it’s what I like to do, and it puts a smile on my face. At the end of the day, that’s all that matters.”

To someone interested in photography: “I’m going to state the obvious here, but go for it! There’s nothing to lose! If it’s something that you’re truly interested in and love to do, why NOT do it!”
